Voting begins Sunday, Feb. 23, at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/summitdaily.com\/peakperformers\">SummitDaily.com\/peakperformers<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nominee<\/strong>: Bobby Aldighieri<br \/><strong>Sport<\/strong>: Freestyle skiing<\/p>\n<p>Though he now calls Steamboat Springs home as the freestyle program director for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, Bobby Aldighieri was a huge part of the Breckenridge freestyle competition scene and community.<\/p>\n<p>The New Jersey native found his way to Breckenridge after attending Killington Mountain School, where his Olympic dreams grew. As a competitive mogul skier during his time in Breckenridge, Aldighieri spent seven years on the U.S. Ski Team, achieving a top world ranking of No. 5 and winning a World Cup gold medal in 1988. He represented Team USA at the 1992 Winter Olympic Games in Albertville, France, where he finished 23rd in men\u2019s moguls.<\/p>\n<p>Aldighieri also competed on the Professional Ski Tour for three years, becoming the first mogul skier in history to win a World Cup and a pro event.
