Electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk<\/a> will bring their immersive \u201c3-D Concerts\u201d back stateside this summer for the first time in four years. They\u2019re currently celebrating their 50th anniversary. <\/span><\/p>\n

The 27-date tour begins June 19th at Seattle\u2019s Moore Theatre and circles the U.S. \u2014 including stops at Austin, Texas\u2019 ACL Live at the Moody Theater on July 1st and a July 18th date at New York\u2019s Radio City Music Hall \u2014 before concluding with a set at Montreal\u2019s Osheaga Festival on August 1st.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tickets for the tour on sale to the public Thursday, February 27th at 10 a.m. local time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since launching their 3-D concerts in 2013, Kraftwerk have continued to tinker with the performances. The shows combine three-dimensional visuals, performance art and the German group\u2019s acclaimed catalog.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur music is changing in time, so we always play different versions; sometimes we change the tempos and sound, Kraftwerk\u2019s lead singer and keyboardist Ralf H\u00fctter told Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> of the 3-D concerts prior to the group\u2019s 2015 U.S. tour. <\/span>\u201cSometimes there\u2019s different traffic on the autobahn. It\u2019s all real. That\u2019s what makes it interesting. Our compositions are like minimalistic film scripts or theater scripts. We can work with this; it\u2019s never going to be the same. It changes over the years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
