The electronic producer duo Disclosure<\/a> are releasing their Ecstasy<\/em> EP this Friday, and, for its rollout, they\u2019re sharing one new song from the five-track extended play per day. Wednesday\u2019s track is called \u201cExpressing What Matters,\u201d a groovy house number that samples one of blue-eyed soul\u2019s most notable singles.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis track samples the legendary song \u2018Lowdown\u2019 by Boz Scaggs<\/a>,\u201d Disclosure said in a statement. \u201cWe really wanted to try to focus in on those wonderful backing vocals that permeate through the original and give it such soul. They ended up becoming the focal point of the entire track. Bring chopped and skewed to their limit. The whole thing was one big audio science experiment for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The other two Ecstasy<\/em> songs shared so far have been the title track<\/a> and \u201cTondo,\u201d<\/a> which Disclosure premiered at a laser-lit club. The duo also reunited with Khalid<\/a> earlier this month for the love song \u201cKnow Your Worth,\u201d<\/a> and with Sam Smith<\/a> for a cover<\/a> of Donna Summer\u2019s<\/a> \u201cI Feel Love.\u201d They contributed production to Mac Miller\u2019s posthumous album Circles<\/em>.<\/p>\n
