A Boogie Wit da Hoodie<\/a> performed a fiery rendition of \u201cMe and My Guitar\u201d alongside special guest H.E.R. Friday on The Tonight Show<\/a><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bronx rapper blistered through his Artist 2.0<\/em> standout, with H.E.R. \u2014 who doesn\u2019t appear on the album version of the track \u2014 capping off the performance with a guitar solo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Artist 2.0 debuted at Number Two on the Rolling Stone Top 200 album chart<\/a>, while the rapper himself currently resides at Number One on the RS Artists 500<\/a> thanks to 167 million streams of Artist 2.0, a Boogie\u2019s follow-up to 2018\u2019s Hoodie SZN<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>, a Boogie touched on \u201cMe and My Guitar\u201d and the lyric \u201chalf of my niggas they either dead or in the system.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just that I talk to my friends every day in jail,\u201d the rapper said. \u201cThey want to ask me a lot of questions about my life, and I don\u2019t feel comfortable telling them about my life, because why am I telling you about how good I\u2019m doing and you\u2019re in a fucked-up situation? You my man, so I don\u2019t want you to be thinking about me all the time while you in there. I want the time to go by nice and smooth and fast. Don\u2019t think about the outside world. It\u2019s too much going on. My best friend didn\u2019t even get to see me get my first Lamborghini yet. By the time he gets out to really see this, it\u2019s going to be amazing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
