Later, Danielle pounds on the drums, with streaks of lipstick across her tank top.<\/p>\n<p><em>Women in Music Part III&nbsp;<\/em>follows 2017\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/sister-act-2-how-haim-found-their-way-back-with-something-to-tell-you-125375\/\"><em>Something to Tell You.<\/em><\/a> It was produced by Rostam, Danielle Haim and her partner, Ariel Rechtshaid. \u201cThe name came to me in a dream and I woke up laughing so I told my sisters,\u201d Danielle said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI liked it because we are literally women in music and we always get written about that way, so it seemed cool to make it our own and control the narrative,\u201d Alana added. \u201cIt made me think about some of our experiences more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just thought it was funny, plus the initials are WIMP3,\u201d Este said. \u201cWimp is a hilarious word.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Haim returned last summer with the aptly titled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/haim-summer-girl-video-paul-thomas-anderson-865526\/\">\u201cSummer Girl.\u201d<\/a> The lead single was followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/danielle-haim-gets-a-car-wash-in-haims-now-im-in-it-video-905646\/\">\u201cNow I\u2019m in It\u201d<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/haim-new-song-hallelujah-913535\/\">\u201cHallelujah.\u201d<\/a> All three songs were accompanied by videos directed by Anderson, their family friend and frequent collaborator.<\/p>\n<p><em>Women in Music Part III<\/em> is available for <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.haimtheband.com\/?utm_campaign=HAIM20200228&amp;utm_medium=&amp;utm_source=\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">preorder.<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"pmc-contextual-player\">\n<h3> Popular on Rolling Stone <\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/haim-new-album-new-song-the-steps-960500\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: Rolling Stone<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Haim make a mess of getting ready in the video for \u201cThe Steps.\u201d The sister trio also announced a new album, Women in Music Part III, out April 24th via Columbia.
