From Pearl Jam to Madonna, here\u2019s a full list of artists taking precautions.<\/p>\n<h4>Festivals<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Knotfest Japan<br \/><\/strong>It\u2019s been four years since Slipknot last brought their heavy metal festival to Chiba, Japan, and fans must now wait a little longer due to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/slipknot-knotfest-japan-canceled-whitesnake-coronavirus-962564\/\">coronavirus concerns<\/a>. \u201cWe are working with Slipknot and their management team on the new dates and will provide updates and announcements on the Knottiest Japan website and socials as details are confirmed,\u201d organizers said in a statement. Korn, Marilyn Mason, Coldrain, Anthrax, Man With a Mission, Babymetal and more were also scheduled to preform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Korea Times Music Festival<\/strong><br \/>The annual Los Angeles festival, which was slated for April 25th, 2020, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/us-korean-music-festival-postponed-amid-coronavirus-958518\/\">postponed due to travel restrictions in Asia.<\/a> \u201cIt is with deepest regret that we announce the postponement of the 18th KTMF scheduled on April 25th, 2020, due to current travel restrictions in Asia,\u201d the organizers said in a statement. \u201cWe truly apologize for the inconvenience to those who have been looking forward to this event and ask for your kind understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>South by Southwest<\/strong><br \/>Representatives for the city of Austin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/sxsw-coronavirus-concerns-963951\/\">officially confirmed on March 6th<\/a> that the annual festival is canceled, marking the first time in 34 years that it will not take place. \u201cIt\u2019s really unfortunate to be canceling South by Southwest,\u201d Austin Mayor Steve Adler told the media. \u201cIt\u2019s a really important event to our city in a lot of ways, tied who we are in this city, but I really look forward to the next iteration of South by when it comes back again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ultra Music Festival<\/strong><br \/>The Miami festival has been vibrating since 1999, but it was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/ultra-music-festival-postponed-coronavirus-963013\/\">canceled last week<\/a> due to concerns over coronavirus spreading \u2014 making it the first major festival to do so. Afrojack, Major Lazer, Zedd, David Guetta, Flume, DJ Snake, Armin Van Buuren and others were set to perform.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe completely understand how extremely frustrating this is because so many of you are looking forward to coming to Ultra, having already made travel arrangements,\u201d the festival wrote on their <a href=\"https:\/\/ultramusicfestival.com\/official-notice\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">website.<\/a> \u201cThis is, however, an unprecedented issue which is not being taken lightly, and we must continue to defer to the authorities for guidance. Ultimately, there is no higher priority for us than the health, safety and physical well-being of each of you, together with everyone else involved in the production of the event.\u201d<\/p>\n<h4>Concerts\/Tours<\/h4>\n<p><strong>BTS<br \/><\/strong>The K-Pop superstars <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/bts-cancel-map-of-the-soul-korea-shows-coronavirus-959472\/\">canceled a string of tour dates<\/a> planned for South Korea. The concerts, set to take place at the Seoul Olympic Stadium, were meant to kick off the group\u2019s world tour in support of their newly released&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/bts-map-of-the-soul-7-2-957346\/\">Map of the Soul: 7<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em>album. \u201cWhile we hope that the situation will improve, we must take into consideration the health and safety of hundreds of thousands of guests as well as our artists and the dire impact a last-minute cancellation may have on guests from overseas, production companies, and staff,\u201d the group\u2019s management company Big Hit Entertainment said in a statement to <em>RS.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Green Day<br \/><\/strong>The band <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/green-day-postpone-asia-tour-coronavirus-959490\/\">postponed its March tour in Asia<\/a>, which included stops in Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Taipei, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan, due to concerns about health and travel. \u201cWe know it sucks, as we were looking forward to seeing you all,\u201d the band wrote on Twitter, \u201cbut hold onto your tickets we\u2019ll be announcing new dates very soon.\u201d&nbsp;<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kiss<br \/><\/strong>While fans still get to see the band out on the road supporting their End of the Road tour, all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/kiss-cancel-meet-and-greets-amid-coronavirus-worries-964710\/\">meet-and-greets have been canceled<\/a> due to concerns surrounding the spread of the coronavirus. \u201cWe have been advised to temporarily cancel these events given the reality that we do this nightly for a hundred or more fans,\u201d manager Don McGhee said in a statement, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blabbermouth.net\/news\/kiss-cancels-meet-and-greets-with-fans-over-coronavirus-concerns\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Blabbermouth.<\/a>&nbsp;\u201cShows will continue as scheduled and we look forward to resuming our time with you backstage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madonna&nbsp;<\/strong><br \/>In the latest cancellation of her ill-fated <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/madonna-madame-x-album-review-847737\/\">Madame X<\/a><\/em> tour, the pop legend canceled her final two shows in Paris, citing concerns over the ongoing pandemic. \u201cFollowing official notification from the Office of the Police this morning prohibiting all events with an audience attendance of over 1000, Live Nation regrets to announce the final two Madame X performances previously re-scheduled to 10-March and 11-March are forced to be canceled,\u201d reads a statement on her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madonna.com\/news\/title\/madame-x-tour---10--11-march-shows-are-now-cancelled\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">website<\/a>. \u201cWe regret the disappointment to fans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The National&nbsp;<\/strong><br \/>The National have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/the-national-japan-concerts-cancel-coronavirus-960435\/\">canceled two upcoming shows in Tokyo.<\/a> While the band held back on name-checking the virus in their tweet announcing the decision, they said they made the decision \u201cin the interest of public safety.\u201d For fans who planned to attend, ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase from March 3rd until March 31st, 2020. \u201cWe look forward to returning in the future and performing for our friends in Japan,\u201d the National said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pearl Jam<\/strong><br \/>One week before launching their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/pearl-jam-new-album-gigaton-tour-936423\/\">spring tour<\/a> in support of their new album <em>Gigaton<\/em>, Pearl Jam <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/pearl-jam-postpone-gigaton-u-s-tour-due-to-coronavirus-964842\/\">announced a postponement<\/a>. \u201cAs residents of the city of Seattle, we\u2019ve been hit hard and have witnessed firsthand how quickly these disastrous situations can escalate,\u201d the band wrote on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/pearl-jam-new-album-gigaton-tour-936423\/\">website.<\/a> \u201cOur kids\u2019 schools have closed along with universities and businesses.
