On Wednesday, he shared his latest track from the LP, \u201cThink I\u2019ll Stay,\u201d a meditation on chronic pain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wrote this while I was moving a lot,\u201d Westerman explains. \u201cI was thinking about a chronic pain condition when it started. That pain is a very specific type, but I think there\u2019s an inevitable amount of pain that everyone goes through just being alive. A friend was talking to me about how they\u2019re going to be working until they\u2019re 80 years old, so what\u2019s the difference. In the song, I\u2019m trying to say that it\u2019s worth sticking around. It\u2019s a sort of giddy affirmation of being.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Your Hero Is Not Dead<\/em> is Westerman\u2019s follow-up to 2018\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Ark&nbsp;<\/em>EP, and will feature new songs as well as breakout tracks like \u201cConfirmation,\u201d originally released two years ago. In January, he shared the album\u2019s meditative lead single <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/westerman-blue-comanche-937953\/\">\u201cBlue Comanche.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Westerman also announced on Wednesday that he\u2019ll be adding additional dates to his upcoming North American tour this summer, including stops in Philadelphia, D.C., Boston, Chicago and Seattle.
