Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham<\/a> appears on the new Killers\u2019 song, \u201cCaution.\u201d The track is the lead single from the band\u2019s upcoming album, Imploding the Mirage<\/em>, out May 29th on Island Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2005me introduce you\u2005to the featherweight queen,\u201d frontman Brandon Flowers belts. \u201cShe got Hollywood\u2005eyes, but she can\u2019t shoot what she see.\u201d Buckingham rips through a sizzling guitar solo before the track comes to a close.<\/p>\n

Imploding the Mirage<\/em> follows 2017\u2019s Wonderful Wonderful.<\/em><\/a> In addition to Buckingham \u2014 who will embark on a solo tour<\/a> next month \u2014 the album also features Weyes Blood<\/a>, K.D. Lang, War on Drugs\u2019 Adam Granducil, Blake Mills and Lucius. It was produced by Foxygen\u2019s Jonathan Rado and Shawn Everett.<\/p>\n

The album marks the first LP the band has made since leaving their hometown of Las Vegas. Flowers cited Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Bruce Springsteen and New Order as influences on the record.<\/p>\n

The Killers<\/a> also announced an extensive world tour to promote the album. Former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr will support them on the U.S. leg.<\/p>\n

All tickets for the North American shows go on sale Friday, March 20th at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for the U.S. shows will accompany a copy of Imploding the Mirage<\/em> on CD.<\/p>\n
