Billie Eilish<\/a> expressed her thoughts on the coronavirus<\/a> pandemic on Monday, telling her Instagram followers, \u201cDon\u2019t panic, but don\u2019t be stupid.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a really big deal right now, and it is not a joke,\u201d she said. \u201cI know because a lot of us haven\u2019t seen it with our eyes \u2014 what it\u2019s been doing and who it\u2019s been affecting \u2014 it\u2019s hard to understand that it\u2019s real. But it really is real, and I\u2019ve seen a lot of young people out in the world, all over the place, going to the club or going to the beach, just going out and hanging out. It\u2019s really irresponsible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eilish went on to explain that social distancing during the COVID-19<\/a> outbreak was \u201ceveryone\u2019s responsibility,\u201d not just for themselves but for the weaker people around them. She urged everyone to stay inside and stay safe, although she clarified that people should \u201cgo outside, just don\u2019t go out into the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t panic, there\u2019s enough supplies for people \u2014 don\u2019t hoard things,\u201d she stressed.<\/p>\n

Shortly after Eilish posted her thoughts to her Instagram story, she made the announcement on Twitter that she was postponing her Where Do We Go Tour in North America: \u201cFollowing last week\u2019s announcement and in light of the ongoing CDC restrictions and guidelines, all of Billie\u2019s remaining \u2018WHERE DO WE GO\u2019 North American tour dates are actively being rescheduled & will be announced soon. All tickets will be honored for the new tour dates.\u201d<\/p>\n
