Father John Misty<\/a> has released a live album to benefit MusiCares\u2019 COVID-19 relief fund.<\/a> In classic Misty fashion, the LP is humorously titled Off-Key in Hamburg<\/em>, available now via Bandcamp.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Misty, real name Josh Tillman, recorded the 20-song set at Hamburg Elbphilharmonie on August 8th, 2019, accompanied by the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt. You can hear \u201cHoly Shit\u201d above, one of his beloved songs from I Love You, Honeybear<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tillman closed the performance with a rare \u201cLeaving L.A\u201d from 2017\u2019s Pure Comedy. <\/em>He\u2019s played the track only a handful of times, most likely because it clocks in at just over 13 minutes.<\/p>\n

Tillman\u2019s last album was 2018\u2019s God\u2019s Favorite Customer.<\/em> Off-Key in Hamburg<\/em> is his second live album, following his 2017 surprise concert at Third Man Records.<\/a> He spent last year touring with Jason Isbell<\/a>; he sprinkled an unreleased song<\/a> into his set in June.<\/p>\n
