Christine and the Queens<\/a> has used her time in self-quarantine to record a passionate cover of the Weeknd<\/a>\u2019s recent single \u201cBlinding Lights.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The singer, real name H\u00e9l\u00f6ise Letissier, posted a version of the song on Twitter, filmed in her home, noting, \u201cPushed all the furniture and covered the Weeknd.\u201d The track was originally released by the Weeknd as a single last year and appears on his new album, After Hours<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last month, Christine and the Queens released a new single called \u201cPeople, I\u2019ve Been Sad,\u201d<\/a> accompanied by a sleek video. The musician released her second record, Chris<\/em>, in 2018. She recently collaborated with Charli XCX on her song \u201cGone,\u201d<\/a> which appeared on the pop star\u2019s 2019 LP Charli.<\/em><\/p>\n

Letissier recently joined Charli XCX for the first edition of the singer\u2019s daily \u201cSelf-Isolation IG Livestream.\u201d<\/a> The pair had \u201cAn Emo Chat\u201d about the state of the COVID-19<\/a> crisis and how the pandemic has impacted their mental health.<\/p>\n
