Recently, many readers have written letters to the editor objecting to the column. Thus, may I quote the First Amendment of our Constitution for these individuals: \u201cCongress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many of us enjoy reading Liddick\u2019s column and urge the Summit Daily to keep it.
