Tame Impala<\/a> has shared a remixed version of their recent album, The Slow Rush<\/em>. Titled The Slow Rush in an Imaginary Place<\/em>, the new edition has been edited to sound like it\u2019s being played from another room.<\/p>\n

\u201cI made something for all you isolators out there,\u201d Tame Impala\u2019s Kevin Parker wrote on Twitter. \u201cI call it The Slow Rush In An Imaginary Place. Headphones required for full immersive effect. See you in there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tame Impala released The Slow Rush<\/em> in February, marking the band\u2019s first LP since 2015\u2019s Currents<\/i>. The album includes singles  \u201cPosthumous Forgiveness,\u201d<\/a> \u201cIt Might Be Time,\u201d<\/a> \u201cLost In Yesterday\u201d<\/a> and \u201cBorderline.\u201d<\/a> It was recorded between Los Angeles and Parker\u2019s studio in his hometown of Fremantle, Australia. The album\u2019s 12 tracks were recorded, produced and mixed by Parker.<\/p>\n

The band was scheduled to tour this spring and summer alongside Perfume Genius, and were on the bill for the now-rescheduled Bonnaroo<\/a> in June. The group\u2019s U.S. tour dates in May, June, July and August are currently still happening, and they have rescheduled a few spring shows for 2020. The band\u2019s April Australian tour is postponed until December.<\/p>\n
