“I was thinking that he\u2019s not going to give this random little blond English dude his number because he\u2019s Pete Wentz” – <\/em>Ryan Potter<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Hunna<\/strong> have been VERY busy recently. They’ve released the first single from their new album ‘\u2018I\u2019d Rather Die Than Let You Out\u2019 in the form of ‘Cover You’ which features none other than blink-182’s<\/strong> Travis Barker. <\/p>\n

They’ve also been working closely with Twenty One Pilots’<\/strong> Josh Dun and Fall Out Boy’s<\/strong> Pete Wentz!<\/p>\n

Well we just had as ask frontman Ryan Potter all about it when we had a video call with him earlier this week. <\/p>\n

This is what he had to say about meeting Pete Wentz for the first time:<\/p>\n

“John [Feldmann] was like \u2018I\u2019ve got some people just coming by just to hang out for good vibes in the studio\u2019. So we were in the studio and it was about half way through the day and I was going over some lyric ideas and stuff. The door opened up and I thought it was Dan [Dorner, guitarist] or one of the guys so I was talking about the song and I looked up and it was Pete Wentz just standing there, looking at me smiling. I was like \u2018Ok brilliant, I don\u2019t really know what to say here. I guess nice to meet you?\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

“It was weird. I grew up listening to him, I\u2019ve seen Fall Out Boy so many times, I had his bass guitar. It was a real trip. Now he\u2019s sitting there rapping with me like \u2018Why don\u2019t we try this? How about this?\u2019 Then I got his number and we\u2019re firing back ideas. I was like \u2018Would you like me to send you what I have so far? How would you like me to send it to you?\u2019 I was thinking that he\u2019s not going to give this random little blond English dude his number because he\u2019s Pete Wentz. But then he went straight up and did it. It was so cool.”<\/p>\n
