The singer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/dave-grohl-billie-eilish-elton-john-coronavirus-relief-concert-974968\/\">recently appeared<\/a> on Elton John\u2019s iHeart Radio Living Room Concert For America, performing an acoustic rendition of Green Day\u2019s \u201cBoulevard of Broken Dreams.\u201d \u201cI hope everybody\u2019s happy and healthy,\u201d Armstrong noted during the live show. \u201cI just wanted to say it\u2019s an honor to be playing for everybody right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Armstrong has also been hosting weekly live \u201cNo Fun Mondays\u201d quarantine sessions from his home studio. In the latest edition he covered Johnny Thunders\u2019 1978 track <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IAzkd4uh5SE&amp;feature=emb_logo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cYou Can\u2019t Put Your Arms Around A Memory\u201d<\/a> and previously performed a rendition of Tommy James and the Shondells\u2019 track \u201cI Think We\u2019re Alone Now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Green Day is currently set to tour this summer with Weezer and Fall Out Boy.
