The track, recorded prior to the coronavirus quarantine, features vocals from Citizen Cope and production by Steve Jordan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love Bill Withers. His passing last week was a heavy blow, on top of the challenges we\u2019re all facing just trying to live day to day right now,\u201d Crow said in a statement. \u201cAfter making incredible, beautiful, funky records like \u2018Ain\u2019t No Sunshine,\u2019 \u2018Grandma\u2019s Hands,\u2019 \u2018Use Me,\u2019 and \u2018Lean On Me,\u2019 Bill got tired of the music business and stopped recording in 1985. When I was fortunate enough to meet him, I begged him to make music again and he replied, \u2018I am a stonemason now and I am good at it!\u2019 He told me he was happy and didn\u2019t want to make music anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued, \u201cTimes like these remind us about what\u2019s really important in life \u2014 love, family, living life in harmony with each other and our planet. Bill\u2019s music was about that, and so much more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Crow herself released what she has called her final album,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-country\/sheryl-crow-discusses-making-the-years-most-guest-packed-album-890911\/\"><em>Threads<\/em><\/a>, last September.
