Nicole Atkins<\/a> flaunts her Jersey Shore style in the new video for \u201cDomino<\/a>,\u201d off her upcoming album, Italian Ice<\/em>, out May 29th.<\/p>\n

Wearing a magenta tracksuit, Atkins struts along the iconic boardwalk as if she owns it, eyeing a pair of white Gucci platform shoes in a store window that she immediately purchases. She passes the Convention Hall before she boards New Jersey Transit, singing the disco-tinged chorus: \u201cTick, tick, tick, tock, time is up\/this message will self destruct.\u201d<\/p>\n

Directed by Taylor McFadden, the highly saturated video has a vintage feel, similar to her previous video for \u201cCaptain.\u201d It was inspired by the opening scene of Saturday Night Fever<\/em> and Atkins\u2019 Italian heritage.<\/p>\n

Italian Ice<\/em> follows 2017\u2019s Goodnight Rhonda Lee.<\/em><\/a> It was recorded at the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama and was produced by Ben Tanner. The album is currently available for preorder. <\/a><\/p>\n

Atkins recently postponed her spring tour due to the coronavirus pandemic; rescheduled dates will be announced soon. Last month, she performed \u201cDomino\u201d from her Nashville home while in quarantine for Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2018s IGTV series In My Room<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to keep everybody entertained, keep our spirits up,\u201d she said during her performance. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of things we can do at this time that we don\u2019t normally get to do, like this.\u201d<\/p>\n
