Like many artists, Lauv had to cancel his upcoming tour dates due to the novel coronavirus, so that meant skipping shows in Latin America and heading home to Los Angeles. However, he is still creating new music for his fans. On Sunday, he teased a new song called \u201cMiss Me\u201d on his Instagram<\/a>, saying that he made it while in quarantine before sharing it on Soundcloud.<\/a><\/p>\n

While continuing to stay home to help curb the spread of COVID-19<\/a> to others, Lauv<\/a> donned some tie-dyed pants and played the new acoustic version of his song \u201cModern Loneliness\u201d for Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2018s latest \u201cIn My Room<\/a>\u201d IGTV series.<\/p>\n

After the final strum of \u201cModern Loneliness,\u201d he introduces his iconic track, \u201cI Like Me Better,\u201d from his 2018 debut<\/a> compilation album. \u201cI\u2019m gonna play an older song right now,\u201d he says. \u201cHopefully this makes somebody happy at a time like this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lauv is promoting his current album, stylized as ~how i\u2019m feeling~<\/em>, and his single \u201cModern Loneliness.\u201d He\u2019s also announced that all profits from purchases of the \u201cModern Loneliness\u201d hoodie and streaming sales of the track before April 27th will be donated to Partners in Health<\/a> \u2014 a non-profit working around the globe to combat COVID-19. The hoodie also comes with an exclusive download of the acoustic version of \u201cMiss Me.\u201d<\/p>\n

He topped off this segment of \u201cIn My Room\u201d by playing \u201cFor Now,\u201d another track off his latest album. \u201cBut for now, I\u2019ll love you through the phone,\u201d he sings. \u201cAnd for now, our friends will fill this home \/ I\u2019m really gonna miss you, but I\u2019ll kiss you through the screen \/ For now, \u2019til you come home to me\u201d<\/p>\n
