Angels and Airwaves<\/a> continue to tease their promised new album with their new song \u201cAll That\u2019s Left Is Love,\u201d with proceeds from the single benefiting Feeding America\u2019s COVID-19 relief fund.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear when Tom DeLonge and company recorded the track, but the song\u2019s lyrics (and use of an animated video<\/a>) mirror society\u2019s self-isolation in response to the coronavirus pandemic. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe world is different now\/We feel more of us,\u201d DeLonge sings on the soaring space rock track. \u201cWhen the days are getting tough\/A little bit\u2019s enough\/When all that\u2019s left is love.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

DeLonge said in a statement, \u201cFriends \u2014 as we are all stuck at home and watching these unfortunate world events unfold, we couldn\u2019t help but notice little glimmers of light showing across the globe \u2014 revealing the positive side of humanity that sometimes gets lost in our day-to-day lives. That, ultimately, is what this band has been about since day one \u2014 HOPE. With all of that in mind, we decided to channel our feelings into a song \u2014 of which all proceeds will go to benefit Feeding America\u2019s COVID-19 Response Fund.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

DeLonge also spoke to Apple Music\u2019s Zane Lowe<\/a> about his long association with Feeding America, who will receive 100% of the proceeds from the track.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve handed out food on holidays and for people in need. I\u2019ve gone to schools and handed out food to a lot of these kids only get their meals at school. And a lot of people think that the United States obviously is a more wealthy country than other, but there\u2019s still so much poverty here,\u201d DeLonge said. <\/span>\u201cAs you know, you live in Los Angeles, and so you can see that there\u2019s a disparity between the classes. It was very simple for me to make one phone call and say, \u2018Why don\u2019t we do this? Because this is something that everybody needs right now. People can\u2019t take care of their families. Kids are not in schools where they\u2019re getting their only meal of the day.\u2019 It kind of worked out, and that\u2019s how you know it\u2019s meant to be. I\u2019m super proud to be with Feeding America on this.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2019, after Angels and Airwaves released their then-new songs \u201cRebel Girl<\/a>\u201d and  \u201cKiss and Tell<\/a>,\u201d DeLonge talked about his plans for their 2020-bound new album, the band\u2019s first since 2014\u2019s The Dream Walker<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s coming out with a movie. I co-wrote a movie and it goes into production in just a few weeks,\u201d DeLonge told Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> of the LP. \u201cThen when I come out of that and go into post, we\u2019ll score it. That will kind of dictate the second half of the album. Both of those will come out together somewhere around the tour or shortly thereafter. It\u2019s going to be hard to say because this is a big project.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
