John Legend<\/a> has shared his uplifting new single \u201cBigger Love,\u201d the title track from the singer\u2019s upcoming album.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following \u201cThe Edge\u201d-sampling first single \u201cActions<\/a>,\u201d Legend continues his respite away from piano ballads with a dance floor-ready pop song co-written by Ryan Tedder that exudes jubilance even in these tough times.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis song is a celebration of love, resilience and hope,\u201d Legend said in a statement. \u201cI wrote it last year, before any of us could have imagined what 2020 would become. The message of the song is that love can help carry us through these dark times and music can bring us joy and inspiration. I hope it brings some light to people\u2019s day and maybe inspires a dance break!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Legend will perform \u201cBigger Love\u201d during both the Global Citizen\u2019s One World: Together At Home Benefit on April 18 and BET\u2019s Saving Ourselves: A COVID-19 Relief Effort on April 22.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bigger Love<\/em>, Legend\u2019s follow-up to 2016\u2019s Darkness and Light<\/em>, is due out this summer, while a tour in support of the album<\/a> begins \u2014 as of now \u2014 on August 12th.<\/span><\/p>\n
