The Lake Dillon Theatre company has begun a new slate of digital programing, such as a series of virtual concerts that started this week. Visit LakeDillonTheatre.org for the full schedule and more information.<\/strong>

SILVERTHORNE \u2014 Like many businesses, the Lake Dillon Theatre Co. has had to change its usual operations in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The play \u201cThe Roommate\u201d<\/a> originally was supposed to premier March 13 but has been canceled.<\/p>\n

Now, with a change in the season\u2019s theme to \u201cLive. Laugh. Love. Out Loud \u2026 Online,\u201d the company has created a slate of free digital programming for kids and adults.<\/p>\n

Kicking things off is a virtual concert series by past performers uploaded every four days. Bob Moore was the first performance on Monday, April 13, and Alexa Hendrickson\u2019s concert will be released Friday, April 18. Then the public is invited for a virtual happy hour with a different staff member at 4:30 p.m. each Wednesday.<\/p>\n

For a peek behind the curtain, tune in to a weekly podcast by Artistic Director Christopher Alleman and Executive Director Joshua Blanchard with theater news, trivia, interviews and show tunes. Lastly, Artistic Associate Melissa Livingston will conduct a reading of the original play \u201cHouse of Rocks\u201d in four episodes.<\/p>\n
