Rolling Stone<\/em> and Gibson have teamed up to offer a special weeklong series of music performances and the first-ever chance for music fans to make a charitable donation<\/a> to support musicians and walk away with a signature guitar.<\/p>\n

Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2018s In My Room<\/a>,<\/em> presented by Gibson, will feature performances from iconic Gibson artists Joan Jett<\/a>, James Bay<\/a>, and Lukas Nelson<\/a>. In My Room<\/em> airs intimate concerts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3 p.m. ET on our Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n

First up is Bay, who kicks off his set with \u201cScars,\u201d from his 2015 LP, Chaos and the Calm<\/em>. Bay tells the camera that the track is about \u201crealizing when you\u2019ve lost something or someone, [and] that person or thing was so vital to you,\u201d he says, \u201cthat you can\u2019t make that mistake again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bay then shifts to \u201cUs\u201d from 2018\u2019s Electric Light<\/em>, which he acknowledges is fitting for the pandemic. \u201cThey feel relevant all the time,\u201d he says of the song\u2019s lyrics. \u201cIt\u2019s a song about being united and being connected to each other, and just the sheer importance of that. Which right now I think is very relevant \u2014 despite us needing to be distant, we need to stay together as one and be with each other at this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bay closes his intimate performance with \u201cHold Back the River.\u201d \u201cOnce upon a different life\/We rode our bikes into the sky,\u201d he sings, strumming his acoustic guitar. \u201cBut now we crawl against the tide\/Those distant days are flashing by.\u201d<\/p>\n
