Hayley Williams<\/a> has officially released the second part of her Petals for Armor<\/em> project. The five-track EP contains four songs that Williams previously released \u2014 \u201cRoses\/Lotus\/Iris\/Violet,\u201d<\/a> \u201cWhy We Ever,\u201d<\/a> \u201cOver Yet\u201d<\/a> and \u201cMy Friend\u201d<\/a> \u2014 as well as a new track, \u201cDead Horse.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPFA II<\/em> is the perfect interlude between where Petals<\/em> began and where it\u2019s going\u2026. Part III<\/em> isn\u2019t far behind,\u201d Williams wrote in a statement. \u201cI needed these songs to help me get to a place where I could name my shame, take inventory of emotional scars, true friends, awful coping mechanisms and discover what I desire for my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cThe latest single, \u2018Dead Horse\u2019 offers strength back to a younger, weaker version of myself. I feel like all of this needed to be said in order to embody the kind of woman I hope to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams announced her solo project Petals for Armor<\/em> back in January, and released her first five-track EP<\/a> in February, including the tracks \u201cSimmer,\u201d \u201cCinnamon\u201d and \u201cLeave It Alone.\u201d She\u2019ll be releasing the full 15-song album (including Petals for Armor<\/em> Part III) on May 8th.<\/p>\n

Due to ongoing travel and large gathering restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Williams\u2019 upcoming UK, European and North American tour dates are being rescheduled for 2021. All tour tickets will be honored at the rescheduled dates.<\/p>\n
