Playing cards are dealt, candy hearts are crushed to bits and lovers embrace, all while Hynde tells it like it is: \u201cThe buzz\/can\u2019t get no relief.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Produced and directed by John Minton, the video was made entirely under quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic, a factor that also caused the album\u2019s release date to be postponed from May 1st.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we all know that love affairs can take on the characteristics of drug addiction,\u201d Hynde previously said of the single. \u201c\u2018The Buzz\u2019 is about that. Not mine, of course \u2014 I\u2019m never obsessive, never obsessive, never obsessive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The band previously unveiled the album\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/the-pretenders-hate-for-sale-972504\/\">title track<\/a>, as well as \u201cYou Can\u2019t Hurt a Fool,\u201d a scorching ballad that was influenced by R&amp;B. Hynde co-wrote the all of the songs on <em>Hate for Sale<\/em> songs with guitarist James Walbourne.
