From England to Jamaica to the United States, we are hearing from artists and activists around the world about what we can do locally, globally, and everything in between.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Australian artist and singer Sharna \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/sshh\/\" id=\"auto-tag_sshh\" data-tag=\"sshh\">Sshh<\/a>\u201d Liguz spends a lot of time in the studio. She has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Mj-ZLY2iJHA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">new song<\/a> out, and a new band with partner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/zak-starkey\/\" id=\"auto-tag_zak-starkey\" data-tag=\"zak-starkey\">Zak Starkey<\/a> called Sshh the Band. (The two also recently started two new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/news\/8509556\/zak-starkey-sshh-liguz-on-starting-new-reggae-label-trojan-jamaica\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">record companies<\/a> with BMG: <a href=\"https:\/\/trojanjamaica.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Trojan Jamaica<\/a> and Trojan Brazil.) And now, she can feel a little more environmentally proactive whenever she\u2019s recoding new music.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve had solar panels installed in the U.K. studio. We now a completely carbon-neutral studio,\u201d Sshh says. \u201cThe amount of music that we\u2019ve been able to produce using solar panels is awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Sshh also argues that individual actions are not enough when it comes to climate change. \u201cGovernments of the world need to pull their finger out and work together and come up with a solution. Because we are one world; we are one race; we are the human race. And we have a chance, but we have to fight.
