Pull up a seat to the counter, and I\u2019ll tell you about everything that\u2019s hot and happening.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It might be time to crack open a book if you watched all there is to watch but are still looking for ways to keep your mind occupied while staying home during the coronavirus pandemic. Patents, lawsuits, electricity wars, fires and espionage all captured my imagination and held it to the end! <em>\u2014&nbsp;Laurie Blackwell, Next Page Books and Nosh<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wodehouse.co.uk\/bookprofile.asp?e=9780099513841&amp;t=Uncle-Fred-in-the-Springtime-Blandings-Castle\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cUncle Fred in Springtime\u201d by P.G. Wodehouse<\/a><i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\"><\/i><\/strong>: British humorist P.G. Wodehouse is my comfort-read author, everything from Jeeves and Wooster to Blandings Castle to especially my favorite, \u201cUncle Fred in the Springtime.\u201d <em>\u2014 Jane Van Baren, Summit County Libraries<\/em><\/p>\n<p>While it\u2019s possible those books can be found in an aural format, the library has recommendations specifically for audiobooks as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"\u201cDaisy Jones &amp; The Six\u201d&nbsp;by Taylor Jenkins Reid (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/taylorjenkinsreid.com\/books\/daisy-jones-and-the-six\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cDaisy Jones &amp; The Six\u201d&nbsp;by Taylor Jenkins Reid<\/a><i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\"><\/i><\/strong>: This is the first of about 10 titles that I have listened to past about 30 minutes without losing interest! The format is interesting because each person reads their own part so the voices are constantly changing. The story is engaging, as well. Also, there is going to be a show based on the book on Amazon soon. <em>\u2014&nbsp;Ami&nbsp;Soleil, Summit County Libraries<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"\u201cEducated\u201d&nbsp;By Tara Westover (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/tarawestover.com\/book\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cEducated\u201d&nbsp;by Tara Westover<\/a><i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\"><\/i><\/strong>: Sociology is one of my passions, and for some reason hearing about people\u2019s lives often calms me down. \u2026 This is a nonfiction audiobook and one of the best I\u2019ve listened to. It is Tara\u2019s perspective on her fundamentalist Mormon family and her journey of growing up with very little education but with a desire to go to college and learn more.
