We don\u2019t want you to be waiting in limbo while shows are being rescheduled,\u201d Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Michael_Rapino\/status\/1253845357789736961\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">tweeted<\/a> Friday. \u201cThanks to your feedback, <\/span><span class=\"s2\">@LiveNation<\/span><span class=\"s1\"> has revised our refund policy. If new dates aren\u2019t set in 60 days, you\u2019ll be able to get a refund at that time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Under the new policy, dubbed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livenationentertainment.com\/ticketrelief\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Ticket Relief Plan<\/a>, ticket holders whose concerts have been canceled will automatically receive a refund; if the canceled show was scheduled to take place at a Live Nation-owned venue, the ticket holder could instead exchange their refund for a 150% credit to be used toward a future ticket purchase.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cSo if you spent $200 on tickets, you will receive $300 in credit,\u201d Live Nation said of the 150% credit option. \u201cWhen you choose this option, Live Nation will also donate tickets to healthcare workers to share the gift of live with those working on the front line through our Hero Nation program. We will donate 1 ticket for every ticket you originally purchased.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <!-- .l-article-content__pull--left --> <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">For postponed gigs, tickets will automatically be transferred to the makeup date, although ticket holders will have a 30-day window after the new date is announced to opt for a refund. Earlier this week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.classaction.org\/blog\/class-action-against-ticketmaster-live-nation-seeks-refunds-for-rescheduled-events\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">a class action lawsuit<\/a> in California was filed against the concert giant over its refund policies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Taylor Swift and Bon Jovi are among the artists to refund or offer a ticket exchange following their canceled 2020 tour plans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cGiven these difficult times, we have made the decision to cancel the tour entirely. This will enable ticketholders to get refunds to help pay their bills or buy groceries,\u201d Bon Jovi said in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/bon-jovi-cancel-summer-tour-dates-coronavirus-986860\/\">a statement<\/a>. \u201cThese are trying times. You\u2019ve always been there for us and we\u2019ll always be there for you.
