Grace Potter<\/a> attended Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2018s Women Shaping the Future event<\/a> on March 4th, a week before New York\u2019s stay-at-home orders. Now, she joins us for the latest installment of our In My Room<\/a><\/em> IGTV series.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an important time for us all to be within our homes and be with the people we love the most, while also expressing our creativity and whatever we need to express,\u201d she explains from her living room in Topanga Canyon, California, under \u201cstrange circumstances\u201d before launching into her first song, \u201cShout It Out.\u201d<\/p>\n

She follows that by moving to the piano \u2014 with plenty of mood-setting candles \u2014 for a cover of David Bowie\u2019s \u201cAs the World Falls Down\u201d and her ballad \u201cRelease<\/a>,\u201d off her album Daylight, <\/em>which the singer-songwriter released last October.<\/a><\/p>\n
