The Forest Service regards e-bikes as a form of motorized transportation.<\/p>\n<p>Some higher elevation roads and motorized trails \u2014 including many across Summit County still buried in snow \u2014 are not scheduled to open until later in May or June due to snowpack and wet roadbed conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The White River National Forest encourages recreationists to contact their local ranger district office at <a href=\"http:\/\/fs.%20usd.gov\/WhiteRiver\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FS.USD.gov\/whiteriver<\/a><i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\"><\/i> for site-specific information.
