The pair unveiled the song\u2019s lyric video, which features bright animation to go along with the uplifting sentiments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWanna believe, wanna believe, that you don\u2019t have a bad bone in your body,\u201d Halsey sings. \u201cBut the bruises on your ego make you go wild.\u201d On the chorus, she questions, \u201cI don\u2019t know why you hide from the one\/and close your eyes to the one\/Mess up and lie to the one that you love\/When you know that you can cry to the one\/Always confide in the one\/You can be kind to the one that you love.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Halsey recently performed during the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/jersey-4-jersey-covid-19-benefit-988617\/\"><em>Jersey 4 Jersey<\/em><\/a> COVID-19 relief benefit telethon and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/iheartmedia-commencement-speeches-2020-covid-coronavirus-983582\/\">will be contributing<\/a> a prerecorded commencement speech for a new podcast titled <em>Commencement: Speeches for the Class of 2020<\/em>. The singer&nbsp;released her third album <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/halseys-manic-936961\/\">Manic<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em>in January. The LP features guest spots from Alanis Morissette, BTS\u2019 Suga and Dominic Fike, each of whom provided special interludes. She recently appeared on country singer Kelsea Ballerini\u2019s single \u201cThe Other Girl,\u201d off Ballerini\u2019s self-titled third album.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Marshmello dropped a couple singles of his own earlier this year, including \u201cBeen Thru This Before\u201d with Southside featuring Giggs and Saint Jhn.
