The 1975<\/a> frontman Matty Healy announced that he\u2019ll be launching a podcast in partnership with The Face<\/em> magazine<\/a>, with the first episode featuring Brian Eno<\/a> dropping Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. ET.<\/p>\n

The podcast also features Healy in conversation with other musical guests, including Stevie Nicks<\/a>, Kim Gordon<\/a>, Steve Reich<\/a>, Conor Oberst<\/a>, Mike Kinsella of American Football<\/a>, Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream<\/a> and more.<\/p>\n

Healy tweeted out a snippet of his conversation with Eno, where the British music pioneer discusses his first ambient record, Music for Airports<\/em>. \u201cWhen that came out, there was a review in an American magazine where the guy said \u2014 in very critical terms, he gave it a very poor one-star or something \u2014 he said, \u2018This music has no beat, no words, no melodies and no chord changes.\u2019 And I thought, \u2018Ah, that was a success, then.’\u201d<\/p>\n

The 1975 will release their latest album, Notes on a Conditional Form<\/em>, on May 22nd via Dirty Hit. They have shared a half dozen singles from the LP so far, including \u201cPeople,\u201d \u201cFrail State of Mind,\u201d \u201cMe & You Together Song,\u201d \u201cThe Birthday Party,\u201d \u201cJesus Christ 2005 God Bless America,\u201d and most recently \u201cIf You\u2019re Too Shy (Let Me Know).\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n
