Boyz II Men<\/a> delivered a Mother\u2019s Day ode on Saturday Night Live<\/a><\/em> with a socially distanced rendition of \u201cA Song for Mama,\u201d featuring the 1997 track\u2019s producer and songwriter Kenneth \u201cBabyface<\/a>\u201d Edmonds.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOn behalf of SNL<\/em>, we\u2019d like to send a very special Happy Mother\u2019s Day to all the mothers that can\u2019t be with their children this year, and all the mothers that we\u2019ve lost,\u201d SNL<\/em>\u2019s Michael Che said prior to the performance. \u201cWe love you, we miss you, and thank you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The soul trio and their producer then performed \u201cA Song for Mama\u201d from their respective homes, where platinum plaques adorned the walls. During the song, photos of SNL<\/em> cast members with their own mothers were shown onscreen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Boyz II Men and Babyface were the third and final SNL At Home<\/em> musical guests, following Coldplay\u2019s Chris Martin<\/a> covering Bob Dylan and Miley Cyrus performing<\/a> Pink Floyd\u2019s \u201cWish You Were Here.\u201d The episode also marked the SNL<\/em>\u2019s Season 45 finale.<\/span><\/p>\n
