Sunday marks Bono<\/a>\u2019s 60th birthday, and to celebrate the U2<\/a> singer has unveiled his \u201c60 Songs That Saved My Life\u201d playlist.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThese are some of the songs that saved my life,\u2019 Bono wrote of the playlist. \u201cThe ones I couldn\u2019t have lived without\u2026 the ones that got me from there to here, zero to 60\u2026 through all the scrapes, all manner of nuisance, from the serious to the silly\u2026 and the joy, mostly joy.’\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Bono also penned a \u201cfan letter\u201d of gratitude to each of the artists included on his playlist, with the first batch of typewritten letters \u2014 to Billie Eilish, Kraftwerk, Daft Punk with Pharrell and Nile Rodgers, and more \u2014 available to read now on U2.com<\/span><\/a>. The rest of letters are promised in the coming weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n
