Cherry Glazerr<\/a> blazed through an intimate set for the latest installment of Rolling Ston<\/em>e\u2019s In My Room<\/a><\/em>, a series in which artists perform from home while in quarantine.<\/p>\n

Sitting alongside a funky purple light fixture, lead singer Clementine Creevy and bassist Tabor Allen launched into \u201cJuicy Socks\u201d from their 2019 LP, Stuffed & Ready.<\/em> \u201cDon\u2019t be nervous,\u201d Creevy sings repeatedly, as O\u2019Brien plucks the guitar behind her in a cowboy hat.<\/p>\n

The duo dove into \u201cSelf Explained,\u201d a song that Creevy prefaced as their favorite to play live. \u201cI don\u2019t want people to know how much time I spend alone,\u201d she sings, fittingly. The set concluded with \u201cDaddi,\u201d a Stuffed & Ready<\/em> highlight with biting lyrics that include lines like \u201cWhere should I go daddy\/Is it okay with you? Who should I fuck daddy? Is it you?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNot a lot of people get that it\u2019s a highly satirical song,\u201d Creevy told Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> of the track. \u201cIt\u2019s a fully satirical song, \u00e0 la Zappa. I don\u2019t know what the answers are to make myself feel better about patriarchy. But I know that what I felt was missing was a satirical song about it.\u201d<\/p>\n
