Graham Nash<\/a> discussed his career, his life in quarantine and working on a new album in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nash said that, other than a handful of short walks with his wife, he hasn\u2019t left his apartment in nine weeks. \u201cI\u2019m not a very social creature!\u201d Nash told CBS Sunday Morning<\/em>\u2019s Anthony Mason<\/a>.<\/span> \u201cI like to stay in my apartment. I like to be making music. I\u2019m doing demos. I\u2019ve got half an album already done.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The singer recently took part in Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2019s In My Room series<\/a>, where he performed solo renditions of CSNY classics \u201cTeach Your Children,\u201d \u201c4 + 20\u201d and \u201cOur House.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Nash, who recently moved to New York after years in Hawaii, recounted how he was on tour<\/a> when the coronavirus pandemic hit the U.S.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI was five shows into a sold-out tour, yes,\u201d Nash said. \u201cAnd unfortunately, you know, it was getting crazy. I definitely was concerned about my audience and my crew and myself, you know? So yes, very strange times. We\u2019ve been talking a long time over these years. And it\u2019s never been this weird, has it?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The CBS Sunday Morning<\/em> interview also included snippets of Nash\u2019s solo performances of \u201cTeach Your Children\u201d and a quarantined-themed version of his \u201cBe Yourself.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

With COVID-19 lingering even as states begin to reopen, the 78-year-old singer does not anticipate performing live again this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, I love to perform,\u201d Nash said. \u201cI love to communicate. But quite frankly, I don\u2019t see it happening until 2021. That\u2019s almost another year away.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
