III<\/em>, out June 26th via Columbia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The track is another slick bit of pop rock that begins with a rich guitar riff bubbling over a deep drum and bass groove, and eventually builds to a bustling peak packed with overlapping vocals and horn-like fanfare. The song chronicles a tumultuous love affair, but searches for some way to steady the ship in the chorus: \u201cWell we both had nights\/Waking up in strangers\u2019 beds\/But I don\u2019t wanna, don\u2019t wanna\/I don\u2019t want to give up yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Haim wrote \u201cDon\u2019t Wanna\u201d with musician and former Vampire Weekend multi-instrumentalist Rostam Batmanglij, while Danielle Haim, Batmanglij and Ariel Rechtshaid produced the track. Haim will perform \u201cDon\u2019t Wanna\u201d on <em>The Late Late Show<\/em> <em>With James Corden<\/em> Thursday, May 21st.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cDon\u2019t Wanna\u201d follows previously released <em>Women in Music Pt. III<\/em> track, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/haim-i-know-alone-single-991663\/\">\u201cI Know Alone,\u201d<\/a> which arrived with a one-take dance music video at the end of April. (In anticipation of their new album, Haim have been <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HAIMtheband\/status\/1260618765743480838\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">hosting dance classes<\/a> on Zoom, in which they teach fans the choreography from some of their music videos.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>Women in Music, Pt. III<\/em> was supposed to arrive in April, but it was ultimately rescheduled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
