The person would pick on Bridgers and hit her in the head too hard. \u201cAggression that only prepubescent boys have,\u201d she noted. She finally got a chance to retaliate when his back was turned. \u201cRight in the basketball shorts,\u201d she said, smiling.<\/p>\n<p>Jeff Buckey\u2019s <em>Live at Sin-\u00e9<\/em> EP was the first record Bridgers ever fell in love with. \u201cI had it on my iPod Shuffle, and I listened to it when I was supposed to be asleep every night for years,\u201d she said. \u201cI just love how you can hear in real time the audience reaction and what\u2019s so compelling about Buckley.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bridgers recalls the first time she met an idol: Eeyore at Disneyland. \u201cThat\u2019s still probably the best moment of my life,\u201d she admitted. \u201cI was obsessed with Eeyore and the Beast from <em>Beauty and the Beast<\/em>. I think I\u2019ve always loved complicated male characters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere in the video, Bridgers remembers singing My Chemical Romance\u2019s \u201cWelcome to the Black Parade\u201d at a mellow karaoke night and being frightened to release her 2017 song \u201cMotion Sickness.\u201d \u201cI was nervous because it\u2019s a mean song,\u201d she said, \u201cBut I\u2019m glad I did it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also describes meeting her Better Oblivion Community Center bandmate, Conor Oberst, when she opened for his secret show in Los Angeles in 2016.
