On his 75th birthday, John Fogerty<\/a> and his family have released Fogerty\u2019s Factory<\/em>, an EP of the rocker\u2019s classics they\u2019ve performed together while in quarantine.<\/p>\n

Featuring Fogerty and his three children \u2014 Shane, Tyler and Kelsy \u2014 the performances were produced by Fogerty\u2019s wife, Julie, and uploaded onto YouTube. Songs include \u201cLodi<\/a>,\u201d \u201cCity of New Orleans<\/a>\u201d and others, with some airing on SiriusXM and NPR\u2019s Tiny Desk<\/a> series.<\/p>\n

The title of the EP is a nod to Creedence Clearwater Revival<\/a>\u2019s 1970 album Cosmo\u2019s Factory<\/em>, which turns 50 on July 16th. \u201cOur family got together and decided we would spread some joy with music in these trying times,\u201d Fogerty said in a statement. \u201cWe recreated Cosmo\u2019s Factory<\/em> and it became Fogerty\u2019s Factory<\/em>\u2026.my sons, daughter Kelsy, Julie and we even got Bob Fogerty to shoot the cover photo, a total family affair!\u201d<\/p>\n

The sessions were mixed by Bob Clearmountain and mastered by Bob Ludwig. The EP consists of seven songs, including \u201cHave You Ever Seen the Rain\u201d and \u201cBad Moon Rising,\u201d but a full-length LP may be released physically in the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cBringing a little light from our home to yours,\u201d Fogerty added. \u201cWe are having a little family fun together during the pandemic. It\u2019s such a great feeling to be making and playin\u2019 music surrounded by love. We all need to celebrate the life we have and remember how precious it is.\u201d<\/p>\n
