Keyboardist\/percussionist Felicia Douglass handles lead vocal duties on the song, singing, \u201cWhere is it taking me?\/I can only know, yeah\/After the tides we seem and we are free to go\/Inner world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In a statement, Douglass said of the \u201cInner World\u201d: \u201cWe hope it can bring you serenity and solace during this tumultuous moment in history. The past few weeks have felt like an eternity, but now is not the time for silence or defeat. There\u2019s always more to learn if you\u2019re willing and that\u2019s an incredible gift. Keep sharing information, asking questions, and using your eyes and your voice so we can work together toward a future that benefits everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cInner World\u201d is the second offering from <em>Flight Tower<\/em>, following \u201cLose Your Love.\u201d <em>Flight Tower<\/em> follows Dirty Projectors\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/dirty-projectors-search-for-life-new-ep-windows-open-971877\/\">March EP <em>Windows Open<\/em><\/a>. Four of the five EPs Dirty Projectors will release this year will feature a different band member \u2014 Douglass, Longstreth, Maia Friedman and Kristin Slipp \u2014 on lead vocals, while everyone will share vocal duties on the fifth.
