Linkin Park DJ Joe Hahn is set to be a judge on an upcoming Korean reality TV series, aiming to discover the next big Korean rock band.
The brand new series ‘Super Band’ is launching in South Korea this Friday, and follows on from the success of similar shows seeking to find solo artists and K-Pop bands, and is similar in concept to American Idol.
Speaking of his excitement in joining the Super Band judging panel, Joe shared with The Korea Herald “I have always wanted to come perform here. When the call came in to participate in this show, I thought it was a perfect match with my background in music.”
He continued “I love listening to (rock band music) and waiting for each member to stand out, the combination becomes larger than life and that makes me want to go to concerts,” sharing his high expectations for the show.
Super Band will be launching in South Korea this Friday.
