TripHero expands to Aspen<\/p>\n

TripHero, which offers door-to-door luggage delivery, has expanded its service into Aspen.<\/p>\n

The Aspen opening of TripHero,<\/a> a Vail-based company that debuted in February 2015, enlarges its footprint with “its sights set on making airport baggage lines and baggage claims around the world things of the past,” according to a company statement.<\/p>\n

TripHero works with FedEx to handle a customer’s luggage and bags by delivering them to their vacation accommodations, as well as to their homes. It also offers monthly and annual storage options and provides complimentary gear cleaning and tuning.<\/p>\n

Philanthropic boutique opens downtown<\/p>\n

A luxury boutique that opened Dec. 5 in downtown Aspen has been giving 20 percent of its sales in December to the Aspen Education Foundation.<\/p>\n

Known as a “luxury philanthropic fashion retailer,” Olivela will continue its charitable efforts in the new year with 20 percent of its proceeds given to worldwide charities that support girls’ education, such as CARE, Malala Fund and Too Young To Wed.<\/p>\n

Located at 427 E. Hyman Ave., the boutique will feature a curated assortment of luxury designer brands.<\/p>\n

Olivela was founded by Stacey Boyd, who also launched Schoola, an online retailer that sells new and gently worn clothing that supports fundraising for more than 35,000 schools across the United States.<\/p>\n

“We’re delighted to bring Olivela’s mission of creating a meaningful shopping experience to Aspen,” Boyd said in a statement. “Aspen’s vibrant community of socially conscious residents and visitors, who have a deep dedication to philanthropy, is the perfect setting to open our next boutique and continue to work towards making a real impact in the lives of girls around the world.”<\/p>\n

Olivela’s first boutique opened in the summer in Nantucket, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n
