The event kicks off a year of celebrations oriented around ACES&#8217; 50th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Beidleman&#8217;s presentation is titled &#8220;Making the Most of a Himalayan Climbing Season: Everest and Cho Oyu.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Beidleman was a member of a party that climbed Mount Everest, the world&#8217;s highest peak, and Cho Oyu, the sixth highest peak, in a 23-day push last spring.
