The former bassist of Ice Nine Kills<\/strong>, Shane Bisnett, has died aged 31.\u00a0<\/p>\n Shane was the bassist for Ice Nine Kills from 2010 – 2011, and helped write the band’s 2010 album\u00a0\u2018Safe Is Just A Shadow\u2019.<\/p>\n In a touching tribute to Shane on Instagram, Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas shared “I am so incredibly sad to hear that my old friend Shane Bisnett died on New Year\u2019s day. Shane was an immensely kind and talented musician who had such a powerful and beautiful tone to his voice.”<\/em><\/p>\n He continued “In addition to touring with Ice Nine Kills for years, Shane also wrote a ton of the great melodic elements of our \u2018Safe Is Just A Shadow\u2019 album with me. I\u2019ll always remember those cold Rochester, NY nights in 2009 working on songs with him and searching for that \u201cperfect chorus\u201d together. Shane was built like a tough looking dude, but as soon as you engaged with him you realized what a lovable and gentle soul he was\u2026.and that smile!
