Snowmass estate goes to auction<\/p>\n
A Snowmass estate once owned by the late Patrick Henry Jr.<\/a> is going on the auction block.<\/p>\n Henry Jr., who moved to Aspen with his parents in 1948, called the valley home until his November 2017 death. He was a well-known fixture in Aspen who taught skiing, worked at The Prospector Lodge and owned The Winter Shop for several years.<\/p>\n He built two homes for his family on a Snowmass ranch; one is Tuscan-inspired and the second is a modern-day Austrian chalet.<\/p>\n Henry Jr.’s estate is part of Leslie Hindman Auctioneers’ Mountain D\u00e9cor, a timed online auction conducted on Live Auctioneers from Feb. 5-12.<\/p>\n An exhibition will be held in the Denver showroom of Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, open by appointment Feb. 4 to 7 and open to the public Feb. 8 to 9 and Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Catalogs will go online on http:\/\/www.liveauctioneers.com<\/a> on Feb. 5.
