She made club-friendly, neon-bright dance-pop songs that became intoxicating thanks to the artful layering of her upper-register voice.<\/p>\n<p>On her latest single, though, Goulding sings with a newfound rawness. \u201cFlux,\u201d a stripped-down piano ballad, has her reminiscing about the one that got away. \u201cAnd I\u2019m still with the idea of loving you,\u201d she sings on the chorus, before later exploring the fantasies of their potential life as a couple \u2014 maybe they\u2019d be living in London\u2019s Camden neighborhood, or she\u2019d be seeing this ex\u2019s band.
