The Colorado Department of Transportation has shut down Interstate 70, one of the nation\u2019s busiest east-west conduits, in both directions from Airpark Road to the Kansas state line as a bomb cyclone hits the state.<\/p>\n

The storm triggered multiple accidents, making many Colorado roads and highways nearly impenetrable.<\/p>\n

In addition to indefinite I-70 closure, all bus rides to and from Denver on Ride Bustang have been canceled as of 12:30 p.m. \u201cIt is no longer safe to operate.\u201d<\/p>\n

The storm is beginning to impact northeastern Colorado and the Front Range with following closures: I-70 closed from AirPark to Kansas; Hwy 36 (parallel to I-70 closure from AirPark to Kansas) closed; I-25 closed from Ted\u2019s Place to Wyoming; Hwy 24 closed from Calhan to Limon<\/p>\n
