Architecture firm moves to Mesa Store building<\/p>\n
Rowland+Broughton Architecture \/ Urban Design \/ Interior Design has new digs.<\/p>\n
The firm recently moved into the historic Mesa Store building on Main Street by the S-curve in Aspen.<\/p>\n

The Mesa Store building was built in 1889 and originally used as a general store, and then a bakery, with a shopkeeper residence above.<\/p>\n
As part of restoration and preservation efforts, Rowland+Broughton collaborated with Aspen-based Schlumberger Scherer Construction. Work included the removal and replacement of all non-historic windows with replicas as seen in historic photos. The non-historic, covered entry roof fascia was removed, and historic detailing was restored. The non-historic, exterior covered stair and deck were removed and rebuilt, also according to historic photos. All new building infrastructure was added, preparing the property for the next century and further preserving Aspen\u2019s authenticity and historical heritage.<\/p>\n
The interiors of the studio spaces include reclaimed wood floors with clean white walls and white oak millwork.<\/p>\n
Florida PR, marketing firm expands to Aspen<\/p>\n
Dur\u00e9e & Co. Inc. \u2014 a Fort Lauderdale-based public relations, marketing and special-events firm \u2014 recently opened an Aspen office in the Alpine Bank Building on East Hopkins Avenue.<\/p>\n
As a part-time resident of Aspen for nearly 20 years, Dur\u00e9e & Co. founder and president Dur\u00e9e Ross is leading the expansion.<\/p>\n
The agency\u2019s clients include real estate developers, real estate agents, restaurants, hospitality, wellness and the CBD business, nonprofits and lifestyle, among others.<\/p>\n
ACRA Community Breakfast set April 9<\/p>\n
The Aspen Chamber Resort Association will hold its Community Breakfast at 7:45 a.m. April 9 at the Doerr-Hosier Center on the Aspen Meadows Resort campus.<\/p>\n
Featured speakers will include ACRA President and CEO Debbie Braun, ACRA Board Chair Cristal Logan, Pitkin County Manager Jon Peacock, interim Aspen city manager Sarah Ott, and Andrew Ernemann, who represents the real estate sector on the ACRA Board.<\/p>\n
Check-in for the event begins at 7:45 a.m. The programming runs from 8 to 9:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
Cost is $35 to ACRA members and $50 to non-members.<\/p>\n
