Area business step up for vets<\/p>\n
Wow, wow, wow!<\/p>\n
The donations of chapstick, sunscreen, patches, hand and toe warmers and dog food from Aspen businesses for the disabled vets was especially huge this year.<\/p>\n
Thank you to: Doctors Miller and Swersky, Alpine American National and Timberline banks, Rivian, Mac Bailey\u2019s Music Therapy, Mind Springs, Lauren of Elliman Douglas, Local\u2019s Corner, Miners Building, Radio, Incline and Hamilton Sports, Rocky Mountain Pet Shop, Craig from Cavalier Concepts and Lisa from the Aspen T-Shirt Company. The Property Shop and Factory Outdoors from Glenwood also contributed.<\/p>\n
When you see the vets in town, give them a huge hello and thank them for their service.<\/p>\n

In your article on 3\/27, you mention, \u201cAnd his hotel gave the family a ride to the hospital in Grand Junction.\u201d The hotel was the Viceroy in Snowmass Village. They also paid for a ride to Grand Junction the following day for Joe\u2019s close friend and business partner. I work for Nomi Limo and had the honor to drive Joe\u2019s friend. I want to thank the Viceroy for taking such good care of Joe\u2019s family and friends during this difficult time.<\/p>\n

Community effort returns lost phone<\/p>\n
If you ever lost your cellphone as I did at around 2:00 p.m. March 15, you will understand how grateful I am to have it returned to me.<\/p>\n
I would like the good Samaritan who found it, the Snowmass Village bus driver who delivered my phone to the authorities and officer Zack Wilshire of the Snowmass Village Police Department who arranged for my property to be returned to me to know how grateful I am to get my phone back.<\/p>\n
My family has returned to Aspen since 1958. It continues to be the best.<\/p>\n
