The pop star will also front a new \u201cpurpose-driven program focused on empowering and enabling the next generation of athletes, creators and leaders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cThis is the partnership of a lifetime for me,\u201d Beyonc\u00e9 said in a statement. \u201cAdidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Beyonc\u00e9 co-founded Ivy Park with Topshop owner, Philip Green, and the company launched in 2016. Last year, however, Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s Parkwood Entertainment <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/business\/2018\/nov\/15\/beyonce-cuts-ties-with-sir-philip-green-and-buys-out-ivy-park-share\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">acquired full control<\/a> of the brand after Green was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/business\/2018\/oct\/26\/revealed-philip-green-paid-seven-figure-sums-to-silence-abuse-claims\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">accused<\/a> of sexual and racial harassment. Though Ivy Park will be relaunched through Adidas, the athletic company is not purchasing the brand, with the press release stating, \u201cThis partnership respects Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s ownership of her company.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Recently, Beyonc\u00e9 delivered a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/beyonce-naacp-speech-815787\/\">heartwarming speech<\/a> while accepting the 2019 Entertainer of the Year Award at the NAACP Image Awards.
