New music? Definitely ‘Feeling This’!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

New Blink-182<\/strong> music is properly on the way now.<\/p>\n

Speaking to ABC Radio<\/a> on Monday, bassist Mark Hoppus spoke about how the pop-punk trio are tracking on the follow-up to their 2016 album ‘California’. <\/p>\n

“We’re trying to get away from picking up an acoustic guitar and starting a song that way,” <\/em>Mark shared. “We’ve been writing songs based around beats that [drummer] Travis [Barker] has come up with, or maybe just a keyboard line or one little guitar riff and building around that.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Mark also spoke on their collaborators, including Pharrell Williams who is one of three producers on the upcoming album, sharing “He brought an idea for a track that we worked on for a couple days that is very immediate, happy, punk-inspired, sing-along happy punk rock.”<\/em> <\/p>\n

“We want to go out on tour, we have shows lining up,”<\/em> he continued on to say, “”We are ready to start that whole cycle again.” <\/em><\/p>\n

This all follows on from earlier this year, where Travis Barker spoke about<\/a> how the new blink-182 album will be out before Warped Tour. <\/p>\n
